Kerala HC to work with 50 pc staff

Kochi, Jan 24 (UNI) The staff strength of the Kerala High Court will be reduced to 50 per cent on rotation basis in view of rising number of Covid-19 cases in the State. The physical presence of the officers and staff members in the High Court will be reduced to 50 per cent, on rotation basis, with effect from January 24, 2022, sources said on Monday. "The Controlling Officers concerned shall decide on the pattern of rotation to be fixed among the staff members under their control and they shall permit the rest to work from home as far as possible," according to an order issued by Registrar (Administration) AV Pradeepkumár. "While allocating work from home, the Controlling Officers shall give priority to those categories of employees who are permitted by the Government to work from home. Physical presence of officers, and above the rank of Assistant Registrars shall be as decided by the Registrars or the Directors concerned," the order said. UNI DS GK
