Vasundhara Raje, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan has become politically active in Mewar, Rajasthan these days. But she denied any political connect to her recent four-day yatra of Mewar and Merwara regions started from Nov. 23rd, 2021. During the yatra, Raje visited various temples and meet the families of BJP leaders who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her yatra has drawn a massive crowd and turned out to be a crowd-puller event. Though the Rajasthan Assembly elections are two years away and are due in 2023, but through this show senior BJP leader Raje has given a strong message of her strength to her rivals. As the dedicated worker and good leader of the saffron BJP party in Rajasthan,Rajethrough this yatra has started her groundwork now and assemblingher supporters.

The massive crowd in Raje’s religious yatra is an indication of her hold among the public. The rivals are, therefore, having anxious moments.

The yatra covered six districts has created a buzz as it is seen as an attempt to reassert her position in the state BJP after maintaining a low profile following her defeat in the 2018 assembly polls, but Raje said that the visit is not political.

Raje is terming her yatra as a non-political event and taunting the rivals for politicizing it. Raje was speaking while addressing a gathering after offering prayers at the Sanwaliya temple and said, "I could not meet people due to Covid and because of the poor health of my daughter-in-law. With the blessings of Sawaliya Seth, her health is now improving. Due to her deteriorating health, I could not pay tributes to those who left the world and hence made this plan to be here on this yatra. This should not be linked to politics. Those looking at this yatra as a political act should know that coming time will be of BJP. People want the BJP government to be formed again under the leadership of Modiji."

During this yatra, Raje also visited the family of the late BJP MLA from Dhariyawad Gautam Lal Meena who succumbed to COVID-19 in May.

It is pertinent to mention that she started Dev Darshan Yatra on 23 November from Sanwaliya Mandir of Chittorgarh. During the yatra, Raje slammed the Gehlot government over various issues. The former CM also visited Tripura Sundri Mandir at Banswara, Srinath Mandir at Nathdwara, Eklinga Mandir at Udaipur, and Chaarbhuja Mandir at Ajmer.
