Kolhapur Aug 16 ( UNI) Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar launched a sharp attack on MLA Rohit Pawar of the Sharad Pawar-led breakaway faction, saying, “Some people are under the illusion that they have become big leaders. They should first manage their own party instead of giving us free advice," he said.
Rohit Pawar had alleged that Ajit Pawar no longer had control over his faction and that one group, leaning towards the BJP, was constantly conspiring to defame him.
He also pointed out that despite Ajit Pawar removing Suraj Chavan from his post over the assault on Chhava Sanghatana leaders, Chavan was later indirectly rewarded with a bigger position which Rohit Pawar termed as part of a conspiracy.
Reacting strongly, Ajit Pawar said, "No one needs to give us free advice on how to run our party. Some people think they are the sole leaders of Maharashtra, but they should first put their own house in order. They should not interfere in our party".
