Pune, Oct 16 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arived here today to attend the fourth convocation of the Symbiosis Skills and Professional University.
He was received at the airport by State Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil. "Rajnath Singh has been playing a vital role in strengthening India’s defence system and modernising the security forces, and it is an honour to welcome him to Pune," Patil said.
Rajnath Singh will also visit the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and inaugurate the School of Defence and Aerospace Technology building.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will also be present.
