Ranchi, Aug 6 (UNI) Jharkhand Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Radhakrishna Kishore today said the state government was sensitive to the demands of students agitating over the JPSC-JSSC recruitment issue and expressed hope that the impasse would be resolved through dialogue.
The minister said the government had constituted a four-member committee comprising ministers Dipika Pandey Singh, Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Chamra Linda and Sudivya Kumar Sonu to hold talks with the agitating students.
He said every issue could be resolved through dialogue and mediation and urged the students to participate in the proposed talks at the earliest. He also appealed to the opposition to cooperate and raise any concerns in the Assembly through democratic means.
Kishore said the government was committed to a transparent investigation into the alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations and assured that those found guilty would face action.
Referring to the Congress leadership, he said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had taken the issue seriously and that the party had already submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through its Jharkhand in-charge K Raju.
The minister reiterated that the government was committed to ensuring justice for the students through dialogue and due process.
