‎Maha Ajit Pawar’s last rites to be held in Baramati on Thursday; PM Modi, Amit Shah to attend funeral

Baramati, Jan 28 (UNI) The funeral of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (AP) president, Ajit Pawar, will be held in Baramati, his native place, tomorrow.
Several national and state leaders are expected to attend the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present to pay their last respects, NCP sources said.
The mortal remains of Ajit Pawar will be kept for public homage from 5 pm today.
The funeral procession will commence at 9 am tomorrow, followed by the last rites at 11 am. The cremation will take place at Vidya Pratishthan grounds, located at Vidyanagari Chowk in Baramati, sources added.
