Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) The BJP-led Mahayuti is all set for a clean sweep in Maharashtra Assembly elections by

leading on 227 seats out of a total 288 in the state, as per the latest trends on Saturday.

The noon trends indicated that BJP was leading on 126 seats and its alliance partners Shiv Sena (Shinde) on 56,

NCP (AP) 37.

Whereas, the opposition Congress-led MVA was leading on 57 and others on 13 seats.

The trends showed that Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) were leading on 19 seats each.

Speaking to media, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his gratitude to people of the state, saying that the

results of Maharashtra Assembly are coming based on development and transparent work that they have done

during the two-and-a-half-year tenure.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut expressed his doubts about incoming results.
