Mumbai, Oct 21 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Nana Patole, on Monday rubbished speculations that the Shiv Sena (UBT) will pull out of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, alleging that the ruling BJP was deliberately spreading misconceptions about the opposition parties.

Talking to media in Delhi, he clarified that there are no differences in the MVA and said that discussions on allocation of seats are ongoing, and this discussion will be over soon.

He said that there is no truth in the news that the Shiv Sena will pull out of the alliance and pointed that the Congress has not made any such statement.

"All of us are working together to bring the MVA to power in Maharashtra," he asserted.

The BJP is playing this game due to the fear of defeat, he charged and indicated that BJP will lose badly in assembly election.

Discussions on 96 constituencies of the Congress have been completed so far, the MPCC chief informed and said that they will hold discussions again with NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena-UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday (tomorrow).

Replying to a question, he alleged that BJP's love for Hinduism is fake and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power and was propagated as self-styled Vishwaguru.

In the 11 years of BJP rule, there was a spate in suicides by farmers and unemployed youths, he continued and informed that most of them were Hindus.

It is no secret that Hindus are being treated unfairly when BJP comes to power, he claimed and alleged that BJP's Hindutva is only for politics.

It is a duplicitous stance to publicly say that Aurangabad has been named as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar but to write Aurangabad in the list of candidates, he noted.

The Congress party has a clear stance on religious equality, Patole added.
