Mumbai Amit Shah pays tribute to Ratan Tata

Mumbai Oct 10 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the last rites of industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata on behalf of the Union government on Thursday and paid tributes to him at NCPA lawns here where his moral remains was kept for public darshan.
Shah was accompanied by Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis and cabinet ministers.

In a message, the Home Minister said he was deeply saddened by the demise of the "legendary industrialist and true nationalist".

He said Tata selflessly dedicated his life to the development of the nation. "He is like a pole star in the field of industries", Shah added.
Beside Shah , NCP president Sharad Pawar, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, MNS president Raj Thackery, and several other prominent personalities paid their last respects to the 86-year-old Ratan Tata.
