Shimla, Feb 22(UNI) Shimla Wildlife Division shared a good news with Wildlife lovers disclosing presence of rare guest after successfully tracing the actual presence of a Tiger in the state, Shimla Wildlife Division Forest Officer Ravi Shankar disclosed in a tweets post 17 hours ago on Tuesday. Pisting rare picture of traced Tiger on the Twitter page it announced "Welcoming the King to our Jungle. First record of #tiger at #simbalbaraNationalpark and first camera trap image of tiger recorded in #Himachal. Courtesy regular #wildlife monitoring by our staff led by Range Officer Sh Surender Singh." It took about one month to follow the Tiger after it entered in Himachal Pradesh from Rajaji National park of Uttrakhand. This was the same tiger which had entered a Farmhouse of Himachal Pradesh in mid January this year and Shimla Wildlife Division also put up camera trap to intercept its movement in the new or unexplored territory. Now capturing of picture in the trap camera in the Simlabara NP of Himachal Pradesh makes it certain that state has a new guest which is healthy and successfully survived in new habitat as picture appeared to be robost as Tiger is freely marching in a new habitat. On January 23 State Wild Life wing has placed camera trap near a Private farmhouse in Poantashaib of Sirmour district where pug mark of rare guest or tiger was found by Shimla Wild Life team on January 20. According to DFO wild life Shimla Ravi Shankar after confirmation of tiger pugmark for the first time in this hill state they had put camera trap near the farmhouse to trace the tiger in the same area. Earlier to this Wild Life Shimla had got a complaint from owner of farmhouse that rare pug marks was seen by him inside the farmhouse which never seen earlier. It was followed by wild life experts rushing to the spot and sucessfully recreated pug mark from the impressions. According Wildlife officials it was expected that new guest (tiger) entered in the state from Rajaji National park of Uttrakhand crossing farmhouse from yamuna river and countine staying in adjoining Simbalbara national park of Himachal . Wild Life Offical also stated that Since the level of Yamuna is low enough to walk tiger to other banks from the Rajaji National park may have walked or swim here and didn't went back. To rule out the fear of complaint that it may present same spot or might come back in the farmhouse camera traps had placed by the wildlifevwing.Now new revelation ascertained that new guest ( tiger) entered in the state from Rajaji National park of Uttrakhand crossing farmhouse from yamuna river and countine staying in adjoining Simbalbara national park of Himachal .
